Consultant Clinics

We regularly run Consultant Clinics at Queensway. If you cannot attend an outpatient appointment, or a GP appointment, please let us know in good time as another patient may be waiting to see that doctor and non-attendance may result in the doctor's time being wasted.

Family Planning Services

A comprehensive range of contraceptive services is provided by the doctors or nurses.

If you are planning to become, or think you may be pregnant, please notify the doctor. Some medicines are not suitable in pregnancy.

Day-Case and Minor Surgery

The surgery has a well-equipped day-case operating theatre and recovery unit. Diagnostic procedures are carried out and include colonoscopy, endoscopy, laryngoscopy, colposcopy and other day-case procedures. These operations are performed either by visiting consultants or by our own surgeon and patients will be able to return home very soon after the procedure with a carer. Full information will be given to patients when appointments are booked. This unique service means that appropriate patients will not have to attend the hospital for these diagnostic and corrective procedures.
